On the 928 forum there is a guy called Low Miler. He posts links to very nice 928's. Apparently he is somehow involved with car sales and comes across cars. I have not seen him ask for a penny and it's not his cars that are for sale. Seems to be a nice guy trying to help out the 928 community.

He was apparently banned from rennlist when they attempted to shake him down for money for posting links to these cars. Now when he posts, about 5 or 6 guys with fewer than 10 posts attack the guy like piranhas. The threads are "My old 928 back on the market" or something to that effect and "Is there a mature 928 forum."

I'm surprised that these guys would follow somebody over here & continue harassing him.

i've been watching his posts since his initial intro here on pelican when he was banned from rennlist.....
i see no real problems with what he posts, except a good lead on a 928 still belongs in the cars for sale forum......he seems very knowlegable with 928's though which is always welcome on the bbs.....

The most amazing thing is the intensity of these guys' attacks.

If you smell like bait, the sharks will attack....... I think we have mostly mature and good people on the 911 forum, even the attacks that take place here I feel are more debate oriented over opposing views..... For the most part even the social elite amongst us whether for or against you, always offer good advice and even it if is done in a not so pleasant manner, is constructive none the less....

Thanks Island. They seem to like that uppity attitude & schoolgirl cliquishness. Let 'em wallow in it. After 9/11 I was on the "other" off topic board dispensing some information about the peace loving muslims when guy from LA says he's driving from LA to Chattanooga to come "confront" me. The guy was from Africa & used to talk about having diplomatic immunity. That seemed to not be a problem for the management. I guess the difference in this instance is somebody thinks Miler might be making a nickel. Anyway, in the fine tradition of southern hospitality, I gave the guy my correct name, address & phone number. He was supposed to post progress reports of his trip as it went. Surprisingly, I never heard from him. I think his compass went awry in the Bugtussle Triangle.

That's exactly the problem. Once they harassed Todd enough to get himself banned from RL, they now followed him over here.

Seems like a few turds have legs and come here ONLY to muster it up again. When the threads are void of their harassment, everything is cool.

yea..i never had any problem with todd. I just recently cancelled my Rennlist membership because they are too nazified for me

Someone told me the other day that they would rather drive down to the projects & give $17 to a crack head than renew on rennlist.

Agreed. During my waterpumper days, I was threatened for posting positive feedback about a vendor that was not a Rennlist sponsor. Gasp! If Wayne was petty enough to ban everyone that talked about items that he does not sell, or competing parts vendors, this BBS would be nothing but crickets chirping (in a virtual sense;)). They got one year of my money, no more.
