Indeed, I do.

FWIW, you're cool by me.

Just one on my list. It took a lot of effort on his part to get there, so he's staying.

Ditto. Apologies for my long ago rant...

You can imagine how surprised i was when I read the whole thread in 10 minutes. It helps when most of the religion bashing tards are on your ignore list.
Seems like a few are on yours.

None on mine, seems pointless to be part of a forum if you want to ignore people.

Since you went to all the trouble of quoting from a different thread, yes there are people on my ignore list.
Here, as in society, there are people I care for and people i don't care for. I pick the people I associate carefully outside this board and i do the same here.
Maybe it's due to how I see the human race.
At rare times humans are capable of incredible good but our natural tendency is just the opposite. Greedy, selfish, lying, that is our nature and only when we rise above it so we demostrate our worth.
Suppose for a minute that there are UFOs and aliens visiting our planet (there aren't IMO). If I were one of them and I was observing the human race, I would conclude that we are a flawed race, parasites on the planet, pests that need to be erraticated much like we view disease and harmful bacteria.

Because of that view I am less than patient with those who exemplify the bad in society and admire those who demonstrate the good.
I would really like to see our race grow and improve to the point where our wisdom matches our intelligence and I am bothered when I see people who are standing in the way of the progress. Instead i see people who are going the other way. People with little or no morals. People who would screw others over for their own benefit without a second thought. People who blindly defend murderers and deny thet the murderers are evil and deny that they exist at all. People who's very existance drags down our race and society and country. They most often post an opinion based on a hidden adgenda designed solely for their personal benefit at the expense of others. Illegal immigration is a good example. Blind support of terrorists is another, ultra-liberal democrats, etc.
That dishonesty angers me. Too many are concerned with getting something for nothing. "Tax the rich and give to me because I'm too lazy or dumb or uneducated t get rich by myself". Bah. The lazy and uneducated haven't earned anything except poverty and that is what they deserve. Not a free ride on the backs of others. Those who feel that it should bbe welfare for all have helped to create the reliance on welfare, the perpetual increase on hte need for welfare. It is spiralling out of control and all they can say is that we need to give them more. Don't they see the maddess of their own actions and words? Don't they realize that by blindly supporting more and more welfare they are condemning generations to relying on welfare to survive? They are the problem, not the solution.

I don't enjoy being exposed to that kind of hypocracy and dishonesty as all it does is reinforce me negative view of mankind. Instead i would prefer to focus on the better half, the people who aren't so bad. Just as i don't associate with thieves, criminals, liars and lowlifes in my day to day social circles, I don't wish to associate with them here or anywhere. They have no credibility so what they have to say is without merit.

Even if someone is on my ignore list i have the option of viewing their posts. I just do that selectively. Some I check often but when it comes to a small group of others I kick myself in the butt for even bothering to glance at their drivel and lies. I am better off not reading their BS as is the rest of the world. I shudder to think that these people may actually have influence on others and I hate that thought. The thought they they are intentionally dragging our race or our society or our country down into the muck where we may not be able to recover.

No one on my ignore list. I can learn from everyone. Even a bad person can serve as a good example!!

tabs...sometimes, just sometimes, you border on being "liberal" on some issues. I do not think one can be consistently one way or the other and retain their sanity.
