Wayne,

They are great cars, haven't heard of the .9% APR, was thinking again about a S2000 that might make the choice pretty easy!

HOOT! Wayne, substitue "washing machine" where you said vacuum, and your comment to the salesman echoed mine when we bought Cindy's grocery hauler.

I hope your minivan grows on you like her XLT Ranger did on me. In time, you begin to appreciate the sheer utility and reliablity of machines like these. Just as we appreciate the same in a vaccum and a washing maching.

Ok Wayne, you need to be corrected on one thing. It isn't a minivan, it's a momyvan.
You chose wisely, they are very well made, reliable vehicles...........momy.

Minivans are the do all, carry all vehicles. Much more so than SUVs. Great choice with the Honda. I've been driving Dodge Caravans since 1998 and can't see not having a van in the line up of cars on the driveway and garage.

Is this a cry for HELP from Wayne...I think so...so lets delve into Waynes Psyche and see what his Post reveals about him....Why wouldn't Wayne get excited over a vacume that has a lot of suction power...and he is upset that his new mini-van doesn't have a DVD Player...does all this denote that Wayne has fallen into the complacency of domesticity. Maybe a nice Prescription of whatever Lubby is taking might just perk Wayne UP again.

Welcome to the club, Wayne!

I was just as unexcited when we bought ours almost a year ago.

The only good thing is that I negotiated with the wifey to buy a four door sedan(Audi S4 or BMW Wagon) when the van is not needed anymore. I think we agreed we would keep it three years and then trade it in.

The song, "Middle Aged Crazy" goes:
"He's traded in his Oldsmobile for a new Porsche car.."

Would this make Wayne 'Middle Aged Sane'?

"He's set aside his Boxster project for a new minivan..."

Like you said, it's an appliance.

That sucker will average 20 mpg. Amazing, with 3 rows of seats. If only all vans and SUVs got that kind of mileage, gas would be cheaper and the Middle East would be regarded more as a pile of sand.

Checked with the local dealer, they only offer that on the Vans and Truck.

With very, very few exceptions, ALL new cars are vacuum cleaners.

At least you got a great vacuum cleaner.

Wasn't there a commercial on not too long ago that said:

"Dude, this is Hell. You're Driving the MINIVAN!"

In a short time you'll be wondering how you got along without a minivan for so long.

Yup, they're kind of like pickemup trucks in that regard...

High $30s for a new minivan?!? Wow, that's absurd.

I think you did real good for $28k.
