The shytbags could never manufacture (from scratch) what they use, and depend on the crap they can get their hands on.

i've seen a documentary about weapons factories on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan , near the Khyber Pass that do show they have a booming industry of weaponry.. pun intended

sure , no Tomahawks or Stingers made there
but they had all sorts of conventional weaponry

let's face it , if the russians and germans managed to make Panzerfausts, Mortars and bullets in 1944, i wouldn't exclude the possibility that the Afghani's, who have been fighting guerilla war for whoknowshowlong now,or those in Iraq...,can do the same...

in the end, it's just a matter of casings, tolerances, and the right kind of chemicals(stuff they often recycle from unexploded gear they find everywhere), necessity is the mother of all invention, and life is cheap over there...

This does pose somewhat of a quandary for the islamic scholar. Mo said no pork 'cause it's unclean & ya can't go to heaven with anything unclean on you or in you.
