Sounds like your friend is just another lazy IT recruiter.
I get pimps calling me all the time for positions that are nowhere near my core skillset, and they always want me to hand over then name/number/email of people I know who might fit their need. F*ck 'em - let 'em pay for a DICE/Monster/HotJobs account. |
Smart IT recruiters know that they need to utilize every opportunity they have to "network" and this may happen at some unusual times/places. I sent my resume to a fellow Pelican back in January, he gave it to his wife, she gave it to her friend and I was hired by her friend's company.
