Very cool, glad to see you got a Winnebago (or how ever you spell that). My Grandparents live in th town where they build them. I have doen the tour of the plant, and its a very nice operation.

It's cooler than what it's pulling... j/k. It is cool, though! Can you use the roof space for lounging?

Seriously, JP must build his own website/parts/enthusiast empire, so JP can refer to JP's self in JP's third person.

"Check out JP's new __________!"

I'm saying "JP" over and over again in my head in the manner of "Bob Dole" and it's cool. JP is wicked overtired this morning and this is going to be JP's "thing" today, to the annoyance of everyone within earshot, no doubt.

The miniwini, how does it do going over the Grapevine?

Tim Hancock 08-24-2007 06:04 AM

As handy as those must be for attending various events..... like minivans pontoonboats and station wagons, I will never own one :D:D

Congrats none the less on the acquisition of a new "toy"! :D:D

Who is Wayne and why do you keep talking about him?

Type911 08-24-2007 06:52 AM

Hope you do your neighbors a favor & park that thing out of view.

My neighbors, who are not *********s, parked their Winnie right in front, across from my house and opposite my driveway. Not a pleasant site. As I said, they are nice, not *********s. So after about the first 2 weeks of their ownership and poor choice of parking, I saw Joe out there with the Winnie. I went out to admire it with him. Then I asked, "So, where do you plan on parking it?" (He has 1/2-acre.) Next day, it was on a flat spot behind his house.

So Wayne, where do you plan on parking it?

scottmandue 08-24-2007 07:06 AM

Nice, I rented something very much like that in Hawaii years ago.

Wayne, were you tracking the Boxster?

TSNAPCRACKLEPOP 08-24-2007 08:11 AM

Wow!! What a beautiful tandem axle trailer!!

FastCarFan 08-24-2007 08:16 AM

Can we expect a "101 Projects for your Motorhome" book soon?

MattAlpha 08-24-2007 10:43 AM

Wayne,

I don't suppose you bought that at one of the auctions. So did you pick it up in Gilroy or in between LA and Monterey?

Glad you're getting good use out of it so far,
Matt

Wayne,

I passed you on the way home:

Looking back, my question if it was "someone who frequents Pelican" is quite funny!

Think of the money you'll save on motels. Nice rig.

In Russia, I believe that model of winnebago is called the "dascha" - little joke.

BTW, Wayne, if you were pulling an GT3 RS in an enclosed trailer with a semi, it wouldn't bother me a bit, but as a wage slave who has to work hard every day to enjoy my Porsche hobby, let's just say that this picture, plus this blog, make it easy to want to continue to support Pelican.

Thanks. Seriously.
