Need photoshop help:
I realise that this is not a big challenge, but can someone simply make my turbo-twist wheels black? Just want to confirm my (sort of) decision. TIA.

Why not just mount a set of temporary spares? They'll save you some money and they look pretty much the same. (;))

God, you're funny Doc. I let out a whoop.
Sometimes a temp spare does look better than the other three bling wheels on some cars/Escalades. :D Shaun, thanks a million! That was fast. And exactly answered my question, *Mikey likes it!* |
They will be gloss black, however.

I think you nailed it! My first attempt didn't turn out so well. No matter what I did, the wheels were still silver. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1188861085.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1188860840.jpg |
Thanks Steve, too! That is a major improvement on the looks of the car, IMO. It accomplishes several things at once in my book, ie. makes it look *racier*, less reverent to some stock/boulevardier standard, (if that makes sense), and just right somehow.
BTW, I never bought a bike, (yet). Did you sell yours? I'm leaning towards Ducati now, but your bike was sweet. |
You're welcome. Yeah, sold my bike about a month ago. Great bikes, but the market is soft and slow. Which Duc(s) are you looking at?

Used low-mileage Monsters, everything from a 2000 900 sie to an '07 S4RS. Lots of good deals out there.
