What else can I saw apart with my new Sawzall?!!

I'm hooked. I bought a Sawzall to take apart some old school lockers I bought. This thing is sweet. Cuts through metal like butta. Off to cut stuff up.:p

Use the Bosch blades, they are the best!

Mo_Gearhead 09-06-2007 01:11 PM

Chop the top off your wife's car, they love convertibles!

Tobra 09-06-2007 01:20 PM

You need to buy a few 914's, cut them up and make one good one

There's a site called sex machines that has some, shall we say, different usages that you might not have considered.

last good part of a 71. Wish I had taken a pic of the pile of scrap metal hauled away yesterday. You coulda cut this thing apart with a butter knife it was so rusty.

Seems to work for them.

How about cutting off your muffler, for the redneck performance exhaust system?

I have the Milwaukee Tools version. Awesome machine.

Now that you are an expert, I suggest a challenge- cut a new doorway in your house, but to make it a real challenge, do not bother locating the electrical conduits running to the second floor(if you have one). The effect can be very dramatic, and it will demonstrate why there is a rubber boot on the front of the unit!

Wish I had a scanner. We cut the roof off of an 82 Rabbit once. Flush with the hood no windshield or anything. It now sits at the bottom of a lake.

Here you can still see the bumper sticking out of the water.

slakjaw 09-07-2007 05:03 PM

LOL

No no bodies waiting... A few beers were involved. I sure wish I had pics of it before it went in the drink.

I know U can cut up a FAKE 73 RS #ed 1316......

idontknow 09-07-2007 06:47 PM

Ahh sawzalls, there are even blades for cutting ceramics, brick and cinder blocks.

My friend and I chopped a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath 800 sqft wood frame house into 3'x2' chunks
with my 18v dewalt sawzall and 7 hours. The entire house was dumped in trash bags and sent out with the garbage.

Porsche-O-Phile 09-07-2007 07:21 PM

Too bad you don't live closer. I'd let you enact vengeance on my 951 that almost killed me recently by bursting into flames.

That's for the 'finish' work.

Ask Moses....I think he just bought (or stole) one recently :D

30 years ago, while in college I cut the roof off of a house with a sawzall to add a second floor, we jacked the roof up and put the second floor on the house. The guy had just put a new copper roof on the house a year or two before and didn't want to trash it.
