Where's the fulcrum on this teeter totter?

New here to OT; most entertaining and/or informative. Sometimes outrageous, seldom boring.

Still scrutinizing - haven't yet figured out the prevailing political views. Curious how old hands would describe the teeter totter fulcrum location here - left, right or balanced?

Damn, I was looking for an engineering/physics question.

This group's average member is more educated, intelligent and successful than an average American... So it leans to the Right:)

Just wanted to drive the pompous bus before Superman or Shaun for once.:D

Most of the guys here will claim to be either left or right....but in reality they're either charmed or strange.

Can you post a picture of the teeter totter please?

I'll have a look at it for you.

I've found most guys here to be pretty much straight...

There is no fulcrum. This board is just laying on the ground.

But with a wide stance... ;)

Well, if you climb aboard ...be certain to take your Dramamine. It do do some rockin'!;)

Somewhere between Disneyland, the Smithsonian and a sanitorium.

Dantilla 09-06-2007 12:40 PM

....and sometimes the teeter-totter lands in the mud.

dhoward 09-06-2007 12:41 PM

Only if you miss the cratch.

FastPat was the fulcrum. He had both liberals and conservatives bouncing around. He's gone. OT has become calmer, more predictable and more boring.

(No, I'm not one of FastPat's disciples. I disagreed with him more often than not but I miss his perspective)

How about 'we're all Bozos on this bus'?

Well, at least with daddy you will have no doubts where his loyalties are.

oldE 09-07-2007 03:48 AM

The fulcrum is definitely eccentric!

Where is my physics question?

72doug2,2S 09-07-2007 07:13 AM

I always called it a seesaw, does that mean anything?
