buying E-Code H-4 lights. Which bulbs should I get?

I am going to purchase 2 E-Code H-4 headlights to replace the sealed beam units on my '83 944. I am undecided as to which bulbs to buy. Which color K would you guys recomend or have used and loved. I am tempted to try the Yellowstar bulbs as I have the Silverstar hyperwhites in my wifes minivan and find the white light harder to see.

What do you guys think?

Options are
1) Halogen color K = 3150K
2) Xenon +50 color K = 3250K
3) Xenon XP color K = 4000K
4) Xenon XY color K = 2500K
5) Yellowstar color K = 2300K

unless you wire in relays, stick with stock wattage. Even then, you should probably wire in relays...

I am looking at building my own relay harness kit. I have all the part numbers needed.

Wattage aside, what color would you recommend?

The lower K value (2300K) would be a yellow light while the high K value (4000K) would be a blueish light similar to HIDs and the 3150 would be a normal halogen.

reading of this site will give you good info:

Just my personal taste, but blue lighting is for rice boys...tells me somebody is trying to copy new high end cars by color.
