sata drive driving me crazy...
new sata drive on pci sata card. causes interference with primary ide boot drive. formatted as logical inactive, behind primary ide in bios. got sata cable routed currently to outer port so i can unplug during restarts.
any ideas?

Make sure the BIOS is not trying to boot from the SATA drive first.
Sorry for the short answer, but after fixing my 911 and firing it up, a weird noise started and I focused on that. Dave
