messin with brains
Here's a simple , almost childish game that's fun to use and mess with people.
Ask someone to spell TOP three times. They say, T-O-P, T-O-P, T-O-P Then ask them to repeat the word top three times. They say top, top, top. Then ask them, quick; What do you do when you come to a green light? different one: Ask someone to spell folk three times. They say F-O-L-K, F-O-L-K-, F-O-L-K Then ask them to repeat the word folk three times. The say FOLK, FOLK, FOLK Then ask them, quick; what is the white part of an egg? Another: Ask someone to spell MOST three times. They say M-O-S-T, M-O-S-T, M-O-S-T Then ask them to repeat the word most three times. They say most, most, most. Then ask them, quick; What do you do put in a toaster? 1st one. You go at a green light, not stop 2nd one. the white part of an egg is the white. Not the yolk 3rd one. You put bread in a toaster. You take toast out. Anyone get them all right? |
Damn you to hell.

Much to my 14 year olds delight, each one worked exactly as predicted.:)
We love this kind of stuff. |
You left out the version that goes like this:
First half - use the word SILK S-I-L-K,S-I-L-K ,S-I-L-K Say it fast 3 times... Then ask, what do cows drink? It's not milk - it's water. |
LOL, forgot about that one.
Onliest problem is the more anal among us might argue that young cows (calfs or is it calves) drink milk, screwing up all our fun. I don't care, I still like it. Any others? |
Take a slip of paper, write "carrot" on it and fold it up. Walk up to someone and say "I'm going to ask you some questions, answer me as quickly as possible." Ask 4-5 addition problems (what's
5+7, 12+8, etc.) then ask to name a vegetable. For some reason the majority will say carrot, and will be very suprised when they open the slip of paper. |

_________________ These are indeed amusing tricks, especially for youngsters. Similar to "forcing" in card tricks. Shuffle a deck of cards, as many times as necessary to show the person it's 'random'. As you pick up the deck casually glance at the bottom card. (For illustration here, assume it's the 10 of clubs) Put the deck in your front pants pocket. Tell them you will pick the card out of 52 that THEY choose. Ask them to pick two suits; If they pick Hearts and Diamonds, you say" Ok that leaves Clubs and Spades... pick one." If they say Clubs you say "ok", if they say Spades you say "ok that leaves us with "Clubs" (actually YOUR forced choice). Ask them to pick face cards or numeric (if they say numeric, perfect ... if they pick face cards you say "Ok, that leaves numeric." Break the numerics down as needed through this question/answer scenario, you eventually 'force' their card to be the 10. Then you spend about 15 seconds, hand in pocket, facial grimace's as needed to show your troubling search. Pull out the card off the bottom of the deck. Amazing! |
How many of each animal did Moses put on the arch?

I posted this one before but i love it:
Carefully examine the following and determine the pattern that differentiates the letters above the line from the letters below the line. A EF HI KLMN T VWXYZ __________________________________ BCD G J OPQRS U |
Pretty simple - curves or lack of curved in the formation of the letters.

Yeppers, you got it. Most folks won't though, they try and make it too complicated.
