i can verify that a helo went down 1500 yds south of hwy 3(ensenada-san felipe hwy) on road to mikes sky ranch. helo was 50 feet off the deck chasing warrior racing in a class 1 car #133, when it hit high power lines and augered in nose first.

confusion on fatalities still. (2) known dead and (2) others (spectators??) hit by rotors) also removed from crash site.

lots of drama/rain/and fun. younger son (18) had an over the top fun time. we roughed it, slept on ground in rain w/out tent and stayed dry(dads a nut for exposure gear-his b-day prez is a zooomy cool bivy shelter), ate tacos and enchiladas like pigs, tecates went down smooth, and the coffee was hot. stars in the sky like nowhere else. class 8 ran like a top, not juan single problemo! and lots of comments by people on how racey truck looked and ran, and even an offer to buy it from one clown. yeah like im gonna sell it on the spot and he had the cash to pay me on him?????

now off to the boat races at firebird with my amigos from kalif. and their full race winged g!d-damn-it! boat! gotta be there at 7am and its on the other end of the planet from my rancheria. got three days of FREE PIT PASSES and PIT PARKING since we are using my K-1500 to launch and retreive after "THE LIQUID 1/4 MILE! the fastest liquid quarter(1/4) mile i might add according to them and the records made and broken there. these guys make us look TAME!
