There is a story and video on the below linked page of the electric motorcycle that is claimed to get from 0 to 60 in under a second. The creator attempts a burn-out demonstration, but the bike hooks up and shoots away rather quickly:

Darwin Award also-ran. At least this guy was wearing all the proper safety clothing/helmet for demonstrating the bike's performance. :rolleyes:

Entire area in front of the bike was cleared of people. Concrete
barriers on both sides.

We had not intended the bike to even move.

Oops...but it did.
