Spoon Collecting
Well folks, I have taken the plunge. In my never ending efforts to be just like our beloved tabs when I grow up, I have endeavored to take up spoon collecting. Not being exactly sure where to start (and always being "user" of fine artifacts as opposed to a "collector" per se) I happened upon what I thought was a pretty good way to jump-start my collection. I found a boxed set. Now I know what "boxed set" means in the firearms collecting field, so I'm hoping it carries similar conotations in the world of spoon collecting. I'm pretty excited about this; I can't believe I actually found a set of "nice 'n elegant" spoons at this price. And they actually appear to be somewhat useful for the intended purpose, unlike the very high-end "collector" spoons. What do you all think?

It doesn't matter what we think. What does Mother think?

Don't open the box!!! THey'll hold their value better in the long term. If you have to open them do it carefully not to tear any of the flaps and keep the box for God's sake.

I'm sure you'll outgrow it. Possibly before the teenage years end.

You've hit the mother lode my friend. I would suggest some sort of vacuum container, then store them away in the vault!
