Do You Lurch at Mobile.de ? Fascinating !

Prices for special models are apparently holding up in the Fatherland..

964 RS : £50-70k

911 3.2 Speedster : £40-60k

964 Speedster : £50-100k

993 RS : £80-100k

What really bugs me is the enormous number of 997“s !! The market must get flooded. Perhaps even I will have a fair chance of buying one.....in ten years or so.

Yeah there used to be money to be made in importing premium LHD cars into the UK from Germany, but now I think prices are as high in Germany as they are in the UK for good 964/993.

Same here in Sweden. Athough the prices on the torsion bar models (pre 964), are rising fast here too during the last three years. If I sold my 3.2 today I would likely get 30-40 % more than what I payed three years ago. I would actually have made money on a car. Doesn“t happen every day.

I follow your British Porsche mags. Without a doubt the best. You have a rather special situation with your right hand drive cars. There are relatively fewer of them made and you have to pay quite a premium to have the wheel on the side you are used to.

Hi Markus,
Just curious, how much would mine sell for in Sweden (Go Ericsson, I work in wireless)..

1989 911 Carrera Cabriolet (last of the evolution)
Black, burgundy leather, c3.2, G50, hrome fuchs, 103K miles, power top, power seats, alpine-ipod radio with boston acoustic speakers, 930 steering wheel, never crashed, rust free, no oil leaks and runs with sythetic Mobile1, engine powdercoated, everything working perfectly (ac not recharged just because I do not drive it enough with the top up)..

Here in LA, CA it is about 21-25K with some crazy people trying to get $29K.

Thanks! Don't plan to sell it till but really curious what the European price would be..

In Germany you could expect 25 - 30K Euro +/- for the car you describe. You would get much more if the mileage were lower - but a 100K mile car is considered high as there are a significant number of low mileage cars still around. Also there is the cabriolet discount.

Like Dottore said. There is a wide price bracket with some low mileage cars listed for £40k in Germany. In Sweden I expect you could get $30-35k.
