Israelis ‘blew apart Syrian nuclear cache’
I'm glad some one is showing some sack over there. I wonder why the U.S. press has been so quiet on this one...

This is EXACTLY what the U.S. Government should be doing when these issues pop up. We always leave the dirty work to our faithful Israeli allies. They have nothing (or everything, as it can be debated) to lose, so we make them them our overseas 'hit man'.
Instead of invading (IE: Iraq) and attempting to force our ideologies/ religion/lifestyle/etc. on other people we should use better intelligence and precise, selective strikes to resolve these issues. If we (the USA) have indeed become the world's 'Police Officers', then we should act accordingly. The civilized world has rules that the majority of us live by. Those that would do the civilized world harm should be put on notice that their actions are not acceptable, then dealt with as needed. |
Only Fox has a blip about it, CNN and MSNBC have nothing.

Lets give them some more codes and weapons and have them keep it up.
Maybe they can get the things that were smuggled from Iraq to Syria as well as the Iranian nuke plant... |
BBC and CBS is carrying it but not in headlines.

Note how the Syrians haven't raised a stink at the UN -- they don't want anybody looking into what was destroyed.

The Liberal news media does not want to rock the boat, they do not want the American people to be aware of how dangerous the situation is in the ME. They do not want anybody questioning the New Democratic Party President in 2009 on their policy of appeasement with the Wogs.

This is good news. The airstrike was carried here in the US when it happened. I heard it several times, including on NPR and read an item in my local paper, the Minneapolis Red Star Tribune.
The story I heard was that the Syrians complained that Israeli jets invaded Syrian airspace, dropped ordinance, and were repelled; but that Israel wouldn't comment, even to admit to the mission. The reason nothing more was reported was that no one knew what went on. it didn't even sound like anyone had independently confirm that the Israelis had dropped ordinance. This report is the first more or less firm information that anyone has on the subject. I hope the real story is that the North Koreans were trying to unload their nukes to comply with their new agreements by hiding them with the Syrians and the Israelis got it all. That would be a win-win for the world. |

Wishfull thinking. |
Would love to get into the area and see what was hit. I got into Beirut just after the Israeli's hit the area and there were still weapons boxes and such in the bottom of the bomb crater. Got a few very nice pictures of the things and a Hezbollah puke came over and started to question us.
Guy I was with said that we were Canadians and the Hezbollah guy said it was good we were not Americans as we would be run out of the area. They did not know that the other guy was an active duty US Air Force intel puke and from that you can guess where all the photos went... |
Should be a good movie in a couple of years, saw a Military Channel (I think) special on the nuke raid in Iraq. They really plan these things out well...hence the high incidence of sucess.
