I was in Kenya, and they couldn't get 4 doors. My friend (does safaris) had to have the body cut up and have the rear doors added in a shop.

My '94 Disco was great, in 150k miles I only had to do regular maintenance, replaced the alternator tho.

Owned since new 1999 Discovery Series II, currently 74,500+ miles. The rear air bags were replaced near the end of the warranty. Recently replaced the front drive shaft. Can't complain, has seen a lot of dirt miles. If major things go, it is expensive.

To clarify, the last year for the Discovery Series I was 1999 which was also the first year for the Disco II.
