Renting a room

Im looking to rent a room in my house... thought what the hell maybe I will comment here!

Im in Aliso Viejo in Orange County and looking to rent out an extra bedroom

Does anyone know of anyone looking to rent a room in sunny Aliso?

750 Bones a month plus utilities.

Have you done this before? Make sure they have steady work and ask to see a W-2. References are nice but remember the person giving you the reference may be trying to get rid of the person in question.

I rent out a house and I am very picky about who I rent to.

Good luck

hey scott..... yup.... im not new to the renting thing..... thanks for the insight though.

just thought it would be a good idea out here on porsche-land.

Well, if she's 22, has auburn hair, legs 'up to here' and works at a 'Hooters', you can ignore the W-2 and reference requirements.;)

kurt,

yup 750 bones for a ROOM..... it is after all the SMALL room.... i rented out my other extra room for 850.00 plus utilities!!!!!!! and the guy was begging me to do a year lease as opposed to a 6 month lease,..... i know its weird and here is the kicker,....

i moved from san francisco to orange county and got a bit of a break on real estate, its not as expensive here as in the city..... CRAZY sheet brother!

scottmandue.... im with you brother..... those 22 redheads have trouble written all over them.... ask me how i know......

mo gearhead....... that does sound like a party!...... :) ask me how i know!

$750 for a room. Damn that is more than my mortgage. :D Dont think I could ever do Cali again.

mr wizard.... i envy you brother, having a mortgage at 750 or less is a dream, my mortgage is more than i want to admitt publically! hehehehehe........ both rooms put together are a fraction of the nut that i have to crack every month.... renting out the extra rooms just HELPS.......

but being 10 minutes from laguna beach (literally the beach/sand) isnt all that bad either......

Porsche-O-Phile 09-21-2007 12:50 PM

Problem is you can never enjoy that beach, 'cause you're workin' all the time to pay the mortgage!

Such is life in Cali. . .
