Would you guys shoot....?
Would you guys shoot me if I do this to my p car?

Yes.
|
Not really, I would ask you for help on changing my suspension components cause clearly if you can do that to a 911 you must really know how to mess around with suspension.
I just wouldn't acknowledge your presence in public....lol |
no, that would not be painful enough

No more jack stands!

I would never shoot anyone simply for parking sidways in a handicap designated parking space, but please don't park your car like this, it's just rude.;)

Where's the "Dub" sticker?
|
Nah, I'll just come over and pick up your Fuchs since you don't need them anymore.
|
That can't possibly be real? Photoshop job?
Gee, I really wanted an Escalade!! |
Why would I want (or need) to incur the legal entanglements from shooting you?
Someone else will come along in about 5 minutes and shoot you for me! |
No.
I would just sit back in my chair and laugh my head off:D I've spotted a few rides like that down here in the south, it's just rental wheels. http://www.wheeltimerentals.com/ |
BTW - It looks like the guy with the Monte Carlo is a real racer at heart.
He is following the old rule, "If more is better then too much is just right!" |

Personally...I would not put those on my car.
If any of the younger generation sees the car with those on it, they would steal the car at once, because it would be "with" the times. I drive mine with scratched paint, interior a bit "dodgey", and just the right amount of smoke. No thief will steal the car because it would be embarrassing to have any of his friends see him in it....LOL Can you imagine the amount of ribbing he would suffer for years! Bob |
Oh, MY! What a classy prospect! I think even better if you can arrnage to have the loose rotating additional rims installed so you look speedy even sittting at the stoplight.
When outside of Arkansas, I remove the string of raging Razorbacks rampaging across the rear window so as to remain super cool and with-it amongst all the cognesiti. (I also try to remember to use TWO syllables outside the state. INSIDE the state, knowlegable folks are them whut say,"Porsh" as opposed to the illiterate who usually use "porch-ee"........ |
****. I'm from Louisiana. First I'd steal your wheels. Second I'd drop a load of buck shot in ur ass and while you died I'd laught and put your wheels up for sale on Ebay and sell em back to the poor smuck you stole em from.
LOL. Just kiddin. Wouldn't waste good bullets on you. I'd let my hound dog eat you. |
The wheel to vehicle size proportions have gotten ridiculous with the Dub magazine / Hip Hop inspired car scene. You know, those proportions were the norm at one time ...
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1190580030.jpg and you know how they say "everything that's old is new again". :D |
Makes oil changes a breeze
|
Wow...check out the front suspension in Brandon's pic...:D
|
Belt sander and rock salt come to mind.
|
No dub sticker because they aren't dubs. Dubs are 20s, and depending on the context can mean an amount of money ($20), an amount of weed (dub sack), or wheel size (20" rims). The street slang of "dub" stops at 22" rims, which are called "dub-deuces." Past that you just have "twenty-fos" and "twenty-sixes" and "twenty-eights."
Now you knowSmileWavy Oh, and no, I wouldn't shoot at you. I'd probably just crash my car from laughing at you. At least that car is somewhat decent. I generally see those on mid-80s to early 90s clapped out hoopties. One would think that instead of buying an old hooptie and putting those $uper expen$ive rim on it, they'd just buy a decent car. But no.... Quote:

here's an avalanche i just did an audio system in, i think these were 26"........
i've done big stuff to alot of cars like this, most all of them do not upgrade their brakes.........but they seem to have plenty of $$$ for other stuff :D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1190595623.jpg |

Sometimes I just can't understand the fashion nowadays. Just like bell said, many of them slap on a brand new set of big wheels right after getting the car out of the dealer, WITHOUT upgrading their brake. Why? big/heavy wheels kill performance, braking, easier to flip, ride harsher, cost more money and wear faster. What is the advantage beside "avoiding" the use of jacks/jack-stands? And the funniest thing is that many of those guys on big trucks/SUVs with big wheels drive like a maniac because they think they are the fastest/saftest on freeway.
