Damn car !!!...

Deep down inside, somewhere between my "inner child" and "responsible parent" is an itch....a Corvette itch. All week I talk about selling the P-car and buying a C5. I weigh the pros and cons of Porsche ownership and come up with mostly cons:-.
It's old, it's a very hard ride, it's noisy, it's requires gorilla-like strength to turn the steering when parking, it's requires a special parking spot when left un-attended, it makes valet attendants and waiters expect a larger tip, it's old, it's noisy and, did I mention, it's old and noisy. Then, the weekend comes and I remember the pros:-.
It's old, it's noisy, the wife doesn't like to drive it and everyone thinks it cost like $100k....
Damn car!!!.

sounds like you're about to join the club...ex Porsche owners. Dunno about the Corvette though. Has your wife bleached her hair & had breast enlargement surgery?

That's one of the requirements of Corvette ownership, you know...

Well, if we go by perceived stereotypes, this must be the "small penis support group".!!!

I have a similar argument with myself...although in my argument, I sell the 911 for a Boxster.

I can't own a car I would feel silly getting out of. I think the new Vette is the best sports car for the dollar, but I would feel silly getting out of it.

I saw a bunch of pros, I'm still waiting for the cons.

Lol...last time I posted pics in O.T. I almost got banned...but, rest assured, I will thoroughly re-examine the objects of that quoted statement tonight with the confidence of knowing that my findings will be consistent, as they have been for the last 14 years.....ie. natural, natural and perfect !!

That's alright, you can just email them to me.

Really, it's no problem...

Used to roll my friend's mom's C5 Vette out of the garage late at night and go joy riding around. 2 17 year old kids + a flashy car + a 350 + big tires, man that was the tits. Ton of fun...

Of course, I haven't rolled very many 911s out of garages, yet, so I don't have much of an opinion there...

Such a conundrum you have there...
