What have you invented? Thats patented of course.

Before I die I want to invent something that is widely used.

I use to live next to the guy that invented Bagel Bites. He did it in college and sold it too early. Still made some decent coin.

We have a pretty intelligent group here and I'm betting some inventors.

Lubemeister is one of the brainy guys with a patent to his name. Believe one other guy here on the East coast has one or more behind him.

They are not that easy to do but its not impossible. Marketing it and making a mint is the hard part...

Solar-powered vibrator.

You can browse through the list of patents in my name on my website:

I just bought a flat screen TV with royalties distribution from one of them.
Still waiting to come up with the jackpot one though...

I've invented several things that are patented... patented by other people. It's a bummer to come with an idea and find that someone was just granted a patent on that idea a couple of months ago.

Wowzers, that is quite a list of patents. My dad has quite a few to his name also. Btw Aurel, he graduated in physics from Rutgers...did a lot of work with semi-conductors in grad school so I will pass this link along to him.

Seven patents here. Most of them for the design of cardiovascular and laparoscopic medical instruments. Unfortunately I do not collect royalties because as the inventor at the time, I was working for companies in R&D.

Same deal here. Have a few but they're owned by the water filtration company for which I toil.

I have one, combined BBQ with blower to help ignite the coal, never got into production though.

I'm usually not one to brag, but....sliced bread.

You're way to modest...I'd be braggin' :)

dhoward 09-27-2007 06:47 AM

I invented the battery-powered in-the-shell egg scrambler.
Damn that Ron Popeil...

KFC911 09-27-2007 07:02 AM

"Danco" ...just doesn't have the same effect does it :)

dhoward 09-27-2007 07:12 AM

Sounds fruity to me.
Not that there's anything wrong with that....

Oops, wrong thread.

Urine collection bag for small children with a patented design that avoids the notorious enigma of contamination of the sample with non relevant bacteria.

Tim Hancock 09-28-2007 09:23 AM

Most of the stuff I design is specialized and is not really something that warrants being patented.

A few of the contraptions I have designed at work.

This business used to be fun, now it is too cut-throat and companies demand more whiz bang stuff but want it in shorter time frames and for less money. Every machine is a "new" invention but we typically only might have 6-12 weeks to take it from a concept to a turnkey system with a performance guarantee.

craigster59 09-28-2007 09:40 AM

I had originally come up with the idea, but thru a bit of "industrial espionage", Uncle Booger stole my invention....
