Need help from Vermont Pelicans
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to bring my wife to the Burlington- Stowe area for our anniversary in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone had any good places to see. Hotels,(with spa) Restaurants, Bars (live bands), parks. etc... I'm hoping to take the Porsche on rte 108...he he he Any pointers would be greatly appreciated Thanks Howiee

108 is probably already closed for the year...well not yet.. If you think 10 8 will be nice you can drive a bit south and go over Lincoln Gap there are some spectacular views.. and on this road they keep the closed signs up year round
To bad you not going to be in Vermont either of the next two weekends.....Leaf season will be at its peak. You can get glider rides, and I believe sometimes hot air balloon rides over and around Mt Mansfield... Trapp Family Lodge is a classic place to stay, lots of history. Sound of Music et. al. I have a vacation house down near Middlebury, so most of my trips to Stowe are day trips. There are lots of good places to eat... but I'm drawing a blank now..
