For the Navy guys (or anyone who has been to the PI), here it is:

Or Diego Garcia (form the Provisional Peoples Democratic Republic of Diego Garcia website):

Top 10 Reasons San Magoo is the preferred beer of all true citizens of the PPDRDG:
10. By mid-month, the other choices were Schlitz, Olympia, and Pabst Blue Ribbon
9. It was the only bottled beer on the island
8. Deposit on bottles made the 3 environmentalists on the island happy
7. High alcohol content - could be used start beach-party bonfires
6. It only cost $4 per case - cheaper than Coca Cola
5. When freeze dried and rolled in a cigarette paper, was only legal drug on the island
4. Stubby bottle design prevented serious injury when used "improperly"
3. Brought back happy memories of better days (and nights) in Olongopo
2. There's just something magical about watching women drink beer from a bottle
1. Is listed by FDA as "suitable substitute" for Viagra

The trick with Steel 211 is to mix it 50/50 with Clamato juice. THEN it is just plain delicious!

+1 on the Weideman and regular Schaefer, but my frat brothers and I drank huge quantities of Schaefer "light" back in the day and we actually LIKED it. For a couple of years, every Thursday night we had an event called "Bore Night" which involved timed events chugging 1, 2 and 3 man half gallon pitchers and 2 and 3 man gallon pitchers of luke warm Schaefer Light.

It is 8:00 am and I am at work, but I have a sudden urge for a six pack of Schaef Light God I miss those carefree days!

Why would you drink beer that tastes bad, no matter what the cost?

I drink "good" beer because I enjoy the taste and not just for the alcohol to catch a buzz.

Sometimes we did it for the sheer stupidity of it, the silliness of it even existing. Kinda like "why climb a mountain". Because it is there.

Well, you usually have to share beer and you can't ripcord bottles. So cheap beer is very good for concerts and roadtrips. When I'm at home or in restaurants I drink only imported bottles or draught.

Exactly. That's why I poured the Spaten optimator down the kitchen sink drain.

I've come across more bad expensive beer than bad cheap beer.
Only difference is, most people who drink the bad expensive beer won't admit it's bad. Ruins the image. They just gag it down and try to look more sophisticated.
Kind of like the guy who shows up at a frat party with a sixpack of some expensive imported beer that no one has ever heard of.
He's making an impression all right, but not the one he's trying for. Prolly end up in a dumpster. (him and the beer).

For cheap and bad Bohemian.
Cheap and tolerable Reinlander and Old Milwaukee. In college OM was 69 cents a six pack at HiVee, when on sale 59. I think I got some for 49 one weekend. Had a low budget spell of rolling cigarettes from a $1 cans of Top, got about a carton from a can. The cigarette bums wouldn't want them, would look for a Marlboro smoker.

I've drank a lot of cheap beer in my day, mostly Lucky Lager just for the bottle cap puzzles. Lucky wasn't the only one to feature puzzles (rebus') in the caps. Here's a link if you weren't able to solve some of them..http://jokelibrary.net/yyDrawings/bottle_caps.html

I had Hamms for the first time about 2 weeks ago while drinking with a few buddies before going to a concert and couldn't even finish the can. It is by far the worst beer I have ever had.
