Nice video, ok not really but as a Titanic fan, I was obliged to watch. The Titanic was an absolutely amazing ship, the sad thing though with any tragedy is that we sometimes learn from our mistakes.
From Titanic came mandatory lifeboats and double plated hulls. Did you know the Titanic's third sister ship also sank from naval mine, originally known as Gigantic but renamed Britannic after the sinking. From Apollo 1, came a massive redesign of the Apollo capsule which carried us to the moon. From Challenger, came a more careful evaluation into the O-rings of the booster rockets which led eventually to our space station. So while sad, we have learned so much and gone so far since then. |
