Was'nt this same car on EBay a few months back? I seem to remember the verbose discription.

Yes. The description is from the previous seller. The new seller ran the car for 5k and is now re-selling to buy something newer (or so he says). If you scroll to the end of the description, you'll see the two whole paragraphs the current seller wrote.

I'd be interested in purchasing the Cliff Notes if anyone has 'em...

I could build the entire car faster than the time it would take to read that ad.

LOL. I got cross-eyed after the first 3 paragraphs. I'll just buy the car and figure out what it has afterward. That will take less time than reading the description.

Why is a pretty good question. I'm sure it's pretty nice, though.

He'll have to jack the price up just to pay for that listing. The ebay fees on that must be at least $300.

...why spend more converting an SC to a 993 turbo than a perfectly good 993 NA car would have cost?

while the end result does look to be of decent quality that is one effed up thing to do to a 911.

I think it would have been cheaper to buy a real 993tt than build that thing. He'll never ever get his money back out of that.

As I began reading, I remembered seeing it before. If you had not told me, I never whould have known (I just thought it was the same seller). I just refused to read the entire thing again.

(11) The moment I had set my eyes on a 993 in 1995 I fell in love with its beautiful lines. Its beautiful hour glass curves resemble the perfect combination of the young and old 911 generations and is the modern day version of an early 930 with modern day amenities. I really played with the idea of buying one but after driving a 993 coupe I was concerned about its power potential. Don’t get me wrong, the car felt and performed beautifully, it’s just that I was not crazy about its short gear ratio of its six speed transmission and I had been spoiled by the raw power delivery of several 930 turbos I have had before. Then came the 993 Twin Turbo in 1996 which met and exceeded all my design and performance expectations. It was even curvier and more masculine closer to the 930 turbo and it had a 400 HP twin turbo engine to die for. I was hooked and sold and had to have one. There was only one major problem: at $120.000 I could not afford one. Even if I could have afforded one I could not have gotten one because they were all back ordered or I would have had to pay a hefty premium over sticker to get one.
