Until the IT boom hit silicon valley several years ago, the Raleigh (Research Triangle Park) area boasted the highest concentration of PHDs per capita in the world, and has always been a hotbed of IT development (I worked for IBM there in the early 80s)...not too shabby for sum dum rednex

Boulder needs to move down the list a bit, I wonder if the write got the memo about IBM leaning out half of it's boulder workforce this year. Thank god I quit that suck hole when I did.
