Took Euro delivery on a brand new BMW bike years ago, loved it.
Nothing like picking up a new set of wheels at the factory

Went with my cousin back in '93 to pick up his 928 GTS. Got the factory tour, lunch in the executive dining room, and rode for some laps around Weissach in the yet to be released 993. All-in-all, a great time and very much recommended!

I am looking at buying a BMW 328i for Euro delivery....we have a place in Holland so thought is we can drive it for a month or so there and then pick it up again at home....
Very interested in any recent experience, particularly with regards to insurance, licensing, time you can use it over there etc etc... Dennis
