How can such a group of jerks have such cute kids?
 

Every time I see someone post pics of their kids on here, it blows my mind that they are always such cute kids. Given the obvious fact that everyone in the OT Board is a PITA jerk a-hole, how can this be? ;););):D

They are all adopted.

In my case I guess my ex was attractive.

as Mr Sims points out(presumably, did not click the link) Young mammals have characteristics that make them look cute, fostering nurturing, in theory anyway.

No babies have not evolved characteristics to make them "appear cute" rather natural selection has evolved us (even more so women) to think they look "cute".

Natural selection is merely an amoral force, as inevitable and uncaring as gravity - which is why religious fundamantalists have such a problem with it and its corollary: biological evolution.

My baby is way cuter than her jerk, A-hole father. It's on account of her mother, not me.

I can see it now...Wayne's cute 16 year old asking to borrow the 959 keys...how could he possibly say no :)? Cute kids everyone...I'm glad my parent's aren't posting their kid's pic!

Thank you Markus. I'm terribly proud of Katie and I think she's a cutie but fortunately she's got brains too. She and Daryl both just graduated from Law School and moved separately but at the smae time down to Oceanside, CA - about 70 miles south. He's got his first post graduation job and she is avidly looking for one.

No matter what age, when they're your baby you think they're cute.....ask my 83 year old mother!:rolleyes:
