Funniest thing happened to me the other day (Porsche content)

I was nearly hit by a 944 the other day as I was pulling into a parking spot. I seriously don't know how he missed me. It must've come down to inches.

I was pulling into the spot next to him and he decided to back up and apparently didn't see me (something about bright red cars are hard to see) and nearly backed into me. He couldn't have been more than about 16 years old.

I honked my horn until he saw me and luckily stopped. I guess he was trying to get a better angle or something. Damn teenage drivers (I say this with a grain of salt, as my 15 year old brother just got his drivers permit--yikes! )

Lucky for him he was driving a Porsche. There were no hard feelings. But he really should be more careful. It's hard to miss a bright red Jeep in broad daylight...

I'm not surprised but I'm amazed at how people drive in parking lots...young and old.

I was at Costco the other day and I watched a driver back out of spot while a car was sitting right behind him. The woman in the car was waiting for a spot and layed on the horn while this guy kept on backing up. He even looked behind and kept on going right into the side of her car. About 10 people just stood there in amazement as this transpired.

Agreed. And then there are some parking lots where it's an accident waiting to happen. I know of several near me. I knew there was a reason I used to park WAY away from any other cars when I first started driving!

Then there was the time when I was waiting on a spot with my blinker on, and some *insert explitive here* cut through an empty spot and took it right in front of me. I normally am not one to have bad road rage, but I left him a little note letting him know I was displeased with his chosen action...

At Panera a few years ago, as I was pulling into a parking space from an angle, I had a girl in a Neon barrel out of the road and into the parking space I was carefully pulling into in front of me--it was a straight shot and she had to be doing 30 mph+ to cut me off. She had to slam on her brakes to not go flying over the concrete parking divider, which she hit hard anyway...
