Dognapping on one of our shows!

I'm not making this up. We're making a movie down in Mexico called "South of the Border" it has talking dogs (its a Disney show, OK?). Anyway over the weekend someone dognapped our star a Chihuahua I don't know the details, but I expect we will get a ransom note with a picture of the dog holding up today's local newspaper.

Was Paris Hilton or Britney Spears anywhere nearby?

I think the dog took some time off to visit family and take them some American Dollars.

Did your guys try looking at the local Taco Bells?

edit: (ah, Shuie beat me to it!)

edit #2: I suppose it could be worse. You guys coulda been shooting in China. You'd still find the canine at a local restaurant, just not in the same way/condition as Shuie meant...

Send me a million dollars or else I return the dog immediately.

I love dogs, but do Chihuahua's count?

Seriously, I hope the little bugger is okay.

Are you sure the dog didn't get locked in some trailer?

True story. Just last night my mom told me some realtor left one of their (my folks') doors not just unlocked, but unclosed. My parents only go to that house to mow the lawn about once a week. Turns out the neighbor's golden retriever got into my parents' vacant house, went upstairs, but was afraid to come down the stairs. She was there for seven days with no food. Luckily, the toilet seat was up and she was able to drink from that. Now the entire upstairs needs recarpeting. I wonder how long it was before the neighbors missed their dog or had given up and thought she was dead.

Taco Bell announces they are expanding into Mexico, next a Disney Chihuahua goes missing in Mexico. Coincidence? I think not!

The dog was definitely stolen. I've been told it was a brazen daylight swoop and scoop.

Well, the Lord works in mysterious ways.... I view this as an answer to my prayers that no more "talking animal" movies would ever be made.

Maybe he ran off with Toonces.
