PPOT marketing gurus: need help

I can't give a lot of details, but I have been given a test... a covert mission of sorts. My mission, should I chose to accept it, is to write a 1-2 page marketing plan.

I have explained that this is not my strength, I am an arts student... French & History... they said that they already know that. They want to see if I can pull it off. I can use all the resources I want.

The only info I can give is that it's for a suite of small, money & energy saving consumer products.

I have some blank marketing plan templates that I found online, but I could really use some examples of "real life" marketing plans.

PPOT marketing gurus, can any of you save the day? I have until Tuesday.

Anyone have any old marketing plans kicking around that I can use to get a feel for this?

I can help. PM me.

Can't define a demographic if we don't know what the product is.

Without a demographic we can't determine where to spend marketing dollars/efforts.

Yep I understand, Thanks. All I'm really looking for are some completed marketing plans that I can use as guides.

I really can't give the details here. I'll PM you

Ah the fine art of marketeering - basically just the psychology of the swindle! Needs met, products used, sales made and business repeated - the challenge? How to keep that cycle going and going and going.

Actually not as hard as one might think so why don;t more companys do better? It is because they have marketeers who think they have the answers. Actually, the customer has the answer, its just that many marketeers don;t know the questions to ask or have the ears to listen...

Exactly.

I think for the product being discussed Mike is the guy on this one.

Mike,

Driving down this week.

Need to find an apt.

Owe you a couple of beers.

You got time?

M.D. Holloway 10-12-2007 02:12 PM

Sorry for the hi-jack Jake!

Yep - have Football game on Saturday noon and Horseback riding on Sunday Afternoon but if you give me a range we can make it work. Have you settled on an apt? A bunch of new ones just got put up in Grapeview near the airport on 2499 - brand new. They look decent enough.

No ya, almost forgot. I will be up in the Artic again Tuesday to Friday. I can't believe I almost forgot!

FK there are some good folks here.

Mike, shaun... thanks so much for your help. You've easily saved me hours of fumbling around.
