got the iphone, now what about skype?
 

I love it!! only a couple of issues...
first you can't send or receive pictures via text ( what's up with that?? )
second, does anyone know if there's an application that uses the wifi and skype? ( or will I have to use my laptop to make phone calls forever??) - trying to keep the minutes down.

You have to use SkypeOut credits from what I understand and this web based app costs $25 - there's a monthly option as well.

There are some IM apps as well, but again they are web based . . . for now.

Rumor has it that native apps may be announced around Leopard's launch, which is heavily rumored to be Oct. 26.

yes I was aware of that site unfortunately it has bugs and doesnt use wifi
so ill just wait I guess
