Check out my AWESOME Ebay bike bars!

I SCORED these 2 weeks ago. It took the seller a while to get them to me, but it was worth every dime (about 200 of them with shipping).

I appreciate how someone dispensed with precision and simply blew a hole through them with a torch. Workmanship is so overrated.

The friction ridges have been omitted allowing for "on the fly" position adjustment. Is it two bars-or one??

This "custom" slot is for the internal throttle cable and slider. Without going into a detailed explaination on how it's works, lets just say, it won't.

The Ebay pic was blurry and too far away and the description in the auction weird, if not vague. I bought them on a gamble as vintage Honda bars are like hens teeth. At least I got a good laugh.

Bob,

I actually did this when I had my Sportster. I bought a set of Dyna Wide Glide bars, and fabbed them for internal wires. Took me a weekend to notch out the bars and rerun the wires but the end result was much much cleaner and certaintly worth the time and beer.

Internal routing is the way to go. I have two bikes with it and it looks much cleaner as you mentioned. The above hack job "might" work, but if it doesn't, the throttle could stick wide open very easily.

But isn't that what makes vintage transportation interesting? You might make it to your destination...or not. Who knows? Let's find out!
