Saturday Night Live 10/13

Did anyone see SNL this Saturday, there was a short skit where random people got punched in the face moments before taking a bite out of their food. I don’t recall ever laughing so hard. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to record it.

I thought the Dane Cook MLB spots were the best part of the show.

That was funny in a goofy way. That was what they call one of their "Digital Shorts." Andy Samberg has a funny way about him. I also laugh just looking at Fred Armisen. I always record that show and fast-forward through the junk, which is the majority of it. There's still some gems, and many in that cast can be excellent.

There's been a series of skits where Andy Samberg plays a white rapper in a recording studio hired to work with real rappers. He starts off sounding good, then degenerates into a completely ridiculous riff. Hard to describe, but incredibly funny.

the best was when Dave Grohl gets socked... and that funny jingle after each one. Hopefully I'll find it on youtube.

I finally watched the show - I record it every week. I have watched SNL since the beginning. Only missed a few years while in college. They desperately need some new writers. This season is starting out very weak. As usual, a couple of skits were humorous, but not funny.

Seth and Amy have good personalities for the news but the jokes suck.

Andy Samberg is a shining star - expect to see lots of him in the future.

Watched it last night. The punching skit was the highlight and it wasn't great. I guess the Gore skit was mildly amusing too. The rest pretty much sucked.

Haven't watched it in years.

That show sure did produce some funny people. Radner, Belushi, Hartman, Carvey, Murray, Sandler, Aykroyd ...Chase.

Seeing that clip reminds me why I quit. Perhaps it's my age ...I just don't get it.

(What time is 'Scrubs' on?)

My 14 y/o thought it was funny. I laughed at it too, I think it was pretty random it was made of us ADD people.

It could only be recorded in the streets of NYC. Where else could you stage stuff like that and no one else gets involved?

Re-watch it ans look at the people around it they are most likely not extras and they just do not care.

That's just stupid. Almost as funny as torturing puppies.
