Manny Ramirez solidified why I detest him, not even a shred of class.

He hits a solo shot while down 2-7 in the sixth and he celebrates in the box then walks to first????

If that was my kid I'd drag him off the field by his ear. Lets not even get into how dumb he looks celebrating while you're getting your ass kicked.

Ugghh, all of a sudden I'm an Indians fan.

Never understood why anyone would follow that bunch of slobs (don't shave, done bath, don't tuck in their shirts, don't cut their hair, etc. and I am from a working class background so don't call me arrogant. They are just below standard). So what if they have lost for every, who follows a loser for so long. Even if you are from Boston, why do some people pick to associate themselves with a looser.

I'm not from NY but, thank goodness the Mighty Yankees outdo them 99% of the time.

Since I am at it, the Celtics suck too. Oh yeah, they just got Garnett and the Lakers are still a mess. I better take this one back. :D

You're indicting an entire team of 40 guys because Manny is an A-hole?

I don't like his antics any more than you do and I'm not a Sox fan so I am not making excuses for him. Hell, I'm not even an A.L. fan I am an N. L. fan but mostly I am a BASEBALL fan.

Many people who are not real baseball fans only watch at this time of year, but if your team isn't still playing this is THE time of year for us that follow the game.

Every team playing at this time of year is damned good and the the Sox - whether you like them or their demeanor or not are HUGELY talented and a lot of fun to watch. Real baseball fans "get" that and respond accordingly.

I thought we were just having fun talking about sports?

I hope no one takes this thread seriously.... now that would be sad......
