Who's your candidate
Minnesota public radio site that asks about 15 questions and extrapolates your answers and the importance of them to you into which candidate represents your views and beliefs...
http://minnesota.publicradio.org/projects/ongoing/select_a_candidate/poll.php?race_id=13 My number one choice was Bill Richardson - Fred Thompson came in dead last. |
Colbert.

John McCain got a 20.0.
Ron Paul got a 19.0 Tom Tancredo got a 19.0 Duncan Hunter got a 17.0 Fred Thompson got a 17.0 I noticed there were no Second Amendment questions. That would have significantly changed my results. (John McCain would have been right out.) |
Ron Paul by almost a 2:1 margin over the next stuffed suit. :)
|
Kucinich with a 14, Thompson was dead last but that doesn't mean anything - he and I just don't match up.
The fact is the things that I did not match up with on Kucinich would probably mean I couldn't vote for him though he's the closest I could think of to vote for on the democratic side. I am not voting for Hillary and I would have a hard time voting for Obama. Hillary regardless of her actual politics is more arrogant than bush - who makes me cry. |
Bill Richardson

Ralph Nader

No surprise to me... Ron Paul.
Though he and I disagree on a few items, he was still the closest match to my selected answers. |
Ron Jeremy.

Good answer- but isn't Ron a little overweight now?
Anyway I got 14's for Rudy (who I intend to vote for) and a 4.0 for Hillary (not under pain of death). |
Ron Paul & Tom Tancredo tied with 12 (I could have figured that), Giulani got an 11, Brownback, Thompson, Hunter & Romney got 10s, etc.
Wow, Dodd & Gravel actually finished lower than Hillary (both of them got "3"s where Hillary & Edwards got a "4"). |
High score was 11.

whoever Chris Dodd is apparently doesn't agree with me much- he got a 1.

But the closest major candidate (meaning actually has a chance I guess...for now...) was Obama with 13.0 and HIllary with 11.0. It even surprises me:eek::eek::D |
I am still shocked about the democrats in this election.
Now mind you, as I always say I hate political parties in general and look forward to their demise, which seems more likely as they both keep sucking and not even sticking to their own ideals or promises. That being said, I think the dems should have been able to win last time. The cards were stacked against Bush, and all the democrats needed to do was get a likeable candidate who could capture swing voters (The best kind, because they vote based on thought and not on which color the party is). Instead, they get Kerry in there. He may as well have spoon fed the victory to Bush. He was a disaster as a CANDIDATE. I am not wanting to get into whether or not his vision for what he would do was good. The point is he sucked as a candidate. And remember the John Edwards debate? I mean, my god in heaven! He was going to debate a man who very few people find likeable. I think Cheney's odds were horrible, but Edwards managed to allow Cheney to walk on him. Hillary is, as far as I can tell, also not a smart choice for the dems, but she seems likely. A few friends of mine are VERY different than I am in terms of political opinions, and are generally voters for dems. I was suprised that one of them told me he doesn't like some of the republican candidates, but that Hillary is 'not genuine' and he would not be able to vote for her. I think she's a horrible choice if they hope to win. A slick opponent WILL be able to break her in a debate setting. Mark my words on that one. I don't think she has what it takes to WIN. Once again, not talking about if she'd be good or not, but I don't think she can get there. But I can always hope for an independent to emerge who agrees with everything I want. I'll throw my vote away on a good independent all day long. It proves something. |
My top 3:
Giuliani Kucinich H. Clinton Bottom 3: Tom Tancredo John McCain Ron Paul. |
I did well, Barack and Hillary are in my bottom 3.:D I had Mike Huckabee first (who?), and Rudy second. Brownback was 5th, who would have my vote if he makes it that far (doubtful).
|
Thompson and Hunter at 15.0, Hillary at a 0.0.
I had no idea I was so conservative. |
My top 3:
Giuliani 22.0 Biden 16.0 Richardson 15.0 Bottom 3: Gravel 10.0 Dodd 8.0 Paul 6.0 |
