Mr. Rogers Senate Testimony
Perhaps some of you have seen this. perhaps the link won't work. But there is a YouTube video of Mr. Rogers' 1969 testimony before the Senate when the Nixon administration and a Republican Congress were hoping to cut public television funding in half. Senator Pastori was informed and moved.

Fred Rogers is one of those few people who really was a saint.
I remember reading something about how he drove some old beater for years and it got stolen. It got in the papers and a few days later, the car was returned to the same spot with a note saying "If we knew it was your car, we never would have taken it."
