Blanco Out
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071021/ap_po/louisiana_governor
Hopefully this young fellow can reform Louisiana. I realize that's a big task, but everyone said it was impossible to reform New York until Guiliani too... |
One can only hope!

Good for Bobby Jindal! I was impressed with him the last time he ran. I guess people in Louisiana aren't as racist as one would be lead to believe. 53% of the vote and he's of Indian (India) origin.

What's even better is that some of the "good old boys" have been voted out of the legislature. Also, The Attorney General and the AG commissioner are in for the battle of their lives in the runoffs. Finally, I think we're going in the right direction.
To see why Louisiana has been the butt of so many jokes, here's a link to see what the libs and populists have done to this state. Of course I'm not proud of this "misery index", but showing the truth exposes the truth. And "Sister Katrina Mary" should be quaking in her shoes, because our Treasurer (john Kennedy) is going to blow her out of the water in the next election.
