The Worlds Worst Duct Tape . . .

Is Nashua 398 by Tyco adhesives.

It's thin, it won't stick to anything, and even if it did, you can't rip a piece off with your hand without it splitting down the middle and doing the

thin-stringy-thread-of teensy-duct-tape-two-times-around-the roll-and-then-you start-all over-again

thing. Screw it.
Rant over. Thanks.

That has to be the worst duct tape to get you to post a pic. Inferior quality products should come with a warning label, other than made in China.

Gogar,

That brand of duct tape is not designed for actually fixing stuff. It's designed for S&M use...

(Okay, I just made that up--but I think it's pretty funny.)

Gogar 10-22-2007 10:05 AM

I'll take that into consideration, Chris. However, it hasn't worked for my Duct Tape Occlusion therapy either, which is why I'm sooooo mad at it.

Don't keep trying to use it - come to grips with the fact that you were duped. The satisfaction value realized in throwing it in the dumpster is almost = to the purchase price.

Don't make the mistake of keeping it. If you put it on a shelf, say on top of a can that is smaller in OD than the roll, it will eventually flow and drape itself around the smaller object it is resting on. The rate of cold flow is proportional to the storage area temperature. If you put it flat on a shelf with nothing under it then it will bond itself to the shelf with a grip four times the rated grip of the adhesive on the tape.

Will it work as a cup holder in your Porsche?

Yes, but girls are more fun too look at. Much more expensive than THE MOST expensive duct tape, though.
