As a promo...Taco Bell offered a free taco to everybody in the USA for a base stolen in the World series. When you show for your free taco? Thank Jacoby Ellsbury of Madras, Oregon...he's #46 for the Boston Red Sox...stole from 1st to 2nd..if I'm not mistaken, 2nd inning of tonight's game #2...

(edit) To collect? Just show at any Taco Bell in the USA between 2 and 5 PM, local time...October 30th...

and if everyone buys a drink, they will make money.

Isn't he though? Great story, I mean. From a small 5,000 population town to playing for the Red Sox in the biggest show in baseball. To steal a line from John Madden: "You know, when he played tag as a kid, I'll bet he was never "it"." :)

Ellsbury is AWESOME! Looks like Coco Crisp is the odd man out now...


The free taco is going to be from 2 - 5 pm on 'some' Tuesday a any Taco Bell...thanks to my man.

Lesse, I get to stand in line for a half hour for a 50 cent taco? My time is worth more than that. Plus the tacos are so small and I'm such a pig, one taco would be just a tease. I'd need a half dozen or so ;)

I got an upset stomach from all the shilling of that free taco they did in those two games - those phoney dugout conversations ? Give me a bag . Great ad idea though.
Also read that those pics of people in the stands holding the , what is it Ford or Chevy sign were filmed days before.
Without going into the late start time here on the east coast the World Series has officialy sold out - hell even the pitcher for the Red Sox was "Schilling"
