Online Parts Catalog Solution?
Hi,
I'm on the hunt for a company that can provide a well built online parts catalog. It should be easy to maintain and easy to re-skin so it can be hooked to multiple sites and still maintain branding. Online purchasing is not necessary at this time. The site would be used to demonstrate products available, while the actual purchasing would take place off-line. I'm looking for a company that has experience with the "dog and pony" show, and can provide links to some current online catalogs using their application successfully. Thanks! |

I don't need access to parts- which is what Worldpac does right? I just need the empty catalog so we could upload our own.
I checked IMC and they seem like they would build anything- but I see no mention of online catalogs specifically. |

Easy enough to do some simple scripting to get that done, hard part is the data entry for each part. If you already have that - as a DB, spreadsheet, etc - then just accessing that data in a plain format is super easy. Then you just wrap a style around it.
Since I'm currently without any "fun money" I'll just mention that hiring a coding geek for the "engine" and a graphic designer for the "ooh, pretty" is something you should consider... Heck, I can do the coding, and can recommend a few good folks for the look/feel....
