Leaving on a jet plane...

Hi!

Anybody near the Munich airport wanna grab a beer 31st of October? I have two hours two kill at the airport before my connecting flight to Naples. I should arrive in Munich at about 12:50 p.m. local time, depart 15:15.

I will be on the Island of Capri for two days, then Pompeii-Herculanum. On Monday 5th of Nov., I will again be at the Munich airport for about two hours, arriving 13:40 local time, departing to Bremen at 17:15.

Dave

I won't be there, but you'll have a blast, Dave! Check out the Brothel at Pompeii.

I get to ride a hydrofoil over to Capri. I am looking forward to that. I have Valium for the ride over and I have Valium in Europe ready for the flight home.

I removed my back seat rests in the 911 tonight, in anticipation of the triangulated harness bar that hopefully will be here when I get home.

Really, I am looking forward to leaving the U.S. for a few days, I just wish it could be longer.

No Santa Ana winds, no Santa Ana winds.....

I'll take plenty of pics.

I told my cousin in Germany, that I am on a mission to find a 1984 model Targa. I have one day to find it and drink a lot of beer.

Dave

What´s your mission with the Italy trip, Dave? Vacation or business? Euro MILF´s?? Hijack the flight and have the pilots make a detour to Malmö and I´ll be more than happy to pay for the beer!

My mission, should I choose to accept it, is to wish my mother a happy birthday .

There are enough MILF's here. I would hope to find some Eruo hottie's instead.

I'll see what I can do about diverting the plane to Malmö, but I think you may have to pour the beer in my mouth, as my hands will probably be tied up.

Capri is awesome you will love it, don't forget to stop at the piano bar in Naples.... Hey dude, just one word of advice and you can take it for what it is worth.... be careful of the transvestites over there.... they don't look like fake chicks like here in the states.... those in Naples you can't tell the difference till you ask to check their packages if you know what I mean.... don't ask me how I know....

You won't have much time to leave the airport.

It's a good 45 minutes into Munich proper and that's with a cabbie doin 80-90.

To bad as this a nice time of year to hang at the Seehaus in English Garden.

I don't even think you should bother leaving the departure area of the airport. You'd have to go through customs and security to get back and, unlike here in the US, the Germans take their airport security VERY seriously. I haven't been to the Munich airport since they moved it from Trudering. I'm sure there are some places to drink inside the departure area.

I was trying to find anyone who would meet at the airport. Not planning on leaving the terminal. Although I tried really hard to get the flight routed through Stuttgart....

Anyone who doesn't have a plane ticket can't come meet you beyond security. If you come out to meet them, you get to go through the whole thing again. Just find a hot stranger lady who's on a different flight and be sure to not use your real name.

Note to self, check leather jacket for spare ammo. Last time I went to Italy, half way thru the trip, I put my jacket on and couldn't figure out why it was so heavy on one side - oops! 50 rounds of .22 hollow points. I carried the jacket from LAX - London - Florence - Siena, before I found them. Good thing it was pre 9/11.

I'm still going to get interrogated though. The person that checks my suitcase will find 1 German Army jacket, 1 Marine combat hat in desert-digi and a pair of non military issue desert-digi shorts, along with more normal things. It's either that or I bring the leather cowboy hat. I don't do umbrellas.

Laundry should just about be dry.

I'm a bit pissed I can't check-in now. I need an aisle seat grr...

The Muchen flughaven is a really neat airport. Plenty to see and do. Great steel/glass architecture.

OK, I really don't do this, but I think I'll take a couple of PP stickers along. Perhaps they show in a couple of pictures...
