lolcode
This is an uber-geeky topic but...
You guys all know "lolcats", like: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1193876188.jpg Well, some guy has taken the syntax from those pictures and developed a programming language based on it: http://lolcode.com/ A loop structure is applied with the constructs "IM IN YR LOOP" and "IM OUTTA YR LOOP" instead of something like "loop" and "endloop". Comments are applied by prefacing the comment with "BTW". Variables are declared with the statement "I HAS A xxx" where xxx is the varname. This is FREAKIN' AWESOME! |

I saw this awhile ago. I almost wrote one of my CS215 assignments in it just to give my teacher a heart attack.
Honestly though, it'd be a ***** to follow. Looks like something I'd program after getting home from a party. |
Slow! What are you doing here still....... get out to a party dude!
turn off that friggin computer and get your ass out the door! |
Trust me, I wish I could! I have a mountain of homework to do, since I put it off so I could go out Monday night for my 21st.
I've got a prospect lined up for the weekend, we'll see how it goes:-D Quote:

I think the LOLCats Bible translation project predates the code project:
http://www.lolcatbible.com/index.php?title=Main_Page Perhaps a unified theory soon a la LOLCats . . . http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1193892676.jpg |
Hilarious. Someone with way too much free time, but hilarious. . .
|
I like it! I think I'll write "Programming in Ebonics" to complete the set...

And for those who haven't met the lolcatz, here's an excellent collection: http://icanhascheezburger.com/
