Excellence: GT3 RS vs. GT3 RSR

Great article! Written by Johannes Van Overbeek. I'd like to hear from Jorg Bergmeister at some point too.

Did anyone else catch that the 997 GT3 RSR has a 924 door handle? SmileWavy

I was really interested in this as well. While the RS had street rubber and standard belts, it was 14 seconds slower on a lap at Thunderhill. Really says a lot about the combination of real race rubber, suspension and weight. Suddenly I feel a little better about 1:36 Cup car laps at Sears.

I found his comments re: nitrogen in the tires interesting. Is this a growing track day trend?

N2 has been used in race tires for decades. It's a growing street trend.
