What's wrong with the 3.4L? I know the 3.0L had the head gasket issue, what's wrong with the later V6?

The ones I have seen have the TRD supercharger on them. On the surface, it sounds like fun. Of course, so does a turbocharged 22RE.

I currently own two vehicles with the 3.4 liter V6 (a 2001 DoubleCab and a 2001 4Runner). Each vehicle has right at 80k miles on it. Zero problems out of the engines. In fact, zero (and I mean zero) problems on either vehicle.

Unfortunately, this might not go through. Current asking price appears to be $3800 firm. Seems high, considering that the A/C doesn't work, the seats are ripped (seat covers), there's some stains inside, and a few hail dents on the hood.

Yea, sorry I meant the 3.0l, the 3.4 was fine, I've seen some sludging in them, but nothing else.
