I blew my Porsche fund on a roof, boat trailer and mig welder.

If I see another 10k SC in the northeast I'm going to go CRAZY. I remember doing the math on 10k cars a couple years ago and it worked out to 15k Canadian.

Funny story: When my dad was buying his Carrera Cab in January, I told him "You'd better buy now while the dollar is at 85 cents!"

If you are buying a new 911 you will save between $25,000 and $40,000 (depending on model and options and the deal you make) in the US right now - after all taxes and duties in Canada have been paid.

Insane really.

Yup...you never know...I bought my Carrera in 2005...the Can $ was at 0.86
But...to help me on the Carrera deal...I sold my 914 Limited Edition to a collector in Georgia...13600 US $...that give me 16000 Can $...

Is that AFTER the Porsche Canada 10% price drop?

I ran these numbers about 4 or 5 weeks ago.

I know Porsche Cda was dropping prices - but haven't check their very latest.

That said, the Canadian $ appreciated against the US$ by close to 10% in the last month or so - so even if Porsche Cda. dropped prices by 10% since I did the math - those numbers should still be roughly correct.

Cheers
