Pelican Sighting Grapevine Mills Mall Tues eve

Grayish Silver 86 911.

Pulled into Grapevine Mills Mall around 5:20 Tuesday eve. You had your son in the car.

Anyone here?

So you're in town. When are you going to change your location?

I know several house in HV with you written all over them.

As for 911's - I know of at least 5 in our area that are pre 89. One is a green coupe, another a brown targa, then there is Ed's Rudy which is just soo sweet, I have also seena yellow coupe and a white targa with a black bar. Then there are all sorts of 993's and 996's as well as a bunch of 944's and a few 928's.

Someone up the street has an Arial Atom. There is also a yellow lambo - not sure whose that is though.

Go check out 5th Gear off rt 407. Take 35E North to exit for 407, go left and it is about 1/2 mile on the right. There are a few nice cars there. Rick Jordan owns it and is pretty cool to talk with.

I'm not goin anywhere till I get a GPS.

Every time I get in the car around here I get lost.

The HWY's make no sense.

Made it 18 of the 19 miles to the office in just under 30 minutes.

The last mile was spent driving in circles for 15 minutes.

Its easy, just follow this method:

Stay off of 35 (E or W, Northbound or Southbound) between the times of 7:00AM and 10:30AM, 4:00PM to 3:30AM on weekdays. Weekends are fine unless it is between 5:15PM to 2:30AM on weekends. Don't bother being anywhere near the American Airlines center or Loop 12 two hours before a game, during a game or 2 hours after the game.

Stay off of 183 unless you want to get sideswiped.

635 can be your friend if you use it during "off" hours. Those have yet to be determined.

Rt 114 Southbound (towards Dallas) is a real bump-n-grind (and not in a good way) during the hours of 7:00am to 10:00AM and Northbound from 4:00PM to 8:30PM.

Forget 121 during rush hour.

75 is a nightmare - forgitabout it.

Wait till you mix it up in the "Mix Master" or decide to nav through Fort Worth. Your kids will love the the Fort Worth zoo though. Get the season pass - its worth it.

Ya, and get a GPS...

C'mon Mike, North on 35E is pretty good in the morning, and going south in the afternoon isn't bad either, unless it's Friday. I make it to Denton in 35 minutes, and about 40 mins returning. I pity those that travel opposite my direction though.

No lies on 183, it's out of control.

ha, I remember driving in circles when I first came to Texas too. Make a mistake in a turn and it's 5 miles to make it right. I think the Cowboys just paved the Cowpaths, so it was the Cows that really planned the Highway layouts. The loops are what really threw me, start out North and end up West before you know it.

take a good DFW map with you and get your bearings that way. Otherwise, you can never comprehend it from the highway. Once you learn them, stay off them during rush hours.
