Smear the queer anyone?

Played as recently as the early 80's as far as I can remember....that'd be junior high for those who don't know me.

I think I'll go home today and get the BB gun out for my 7 and 5 year old to play with.

The wife will think I'm insane but there's nothing new there to speak of.

That was good fun even though someone occasionally broke a wrist or something.

My 7 year old tells me that this is still popular.

Wow -- a friend's dad was superintendent of Niskayuna. The friend is Justin Carangelo, and he might've been there about the same time.

This had to have been '91 or '92 when I was in 7th or 8th grade...

Some friends and I were sneaking around the woods near my house. We were all dressed in black or in camo. We were scouting out hiding places for future games of hide-and-go-seek (we'd play with two team of 3-12 kids on a team). I was wearing the executioner's hood that I had used for halloweeen and was otherwise dressed in all black. I also had my cap gun (was my mother's from the 1950's) that looked very much like a real .38 revolver. Anyways, I got separated from my group of friends and the next thing I knew, I was surrounded by about a dozen sixth graders. On of them said: "A ninja! Let's beat him up." So I reached into my backpack and pulled out my cap gun and pointed it at the biggest kid and said: "Don't even think about it." They all took off running. I took of running in the other direction.

I quickly found my friends and said: "We've got to get out of here!" We went back to my house and changed into normal street clothes. Not 20 minutes later, we were walking by the entrance to the woods and 3 squad cars were parked there and I could see police combing through the woods. Until the day I moved, I still heard stories about a crazy guy who would wonder the woods with a gun! ;)

What year did he graduate, sounds familiar? His father was definitely Superintendant while I went to school. I Graduated in 1983

Heck, that's nothing. In my neighborhood they're still talking about the guy who threatened the pizza delivery boy with a pocket knife. See...he was racing his buddy in the WRX...oh, wait, I've said too much.

'83? You probably missed Justin. He was at LeMoyne with me in 1988, so I assume he graduated in '88; might have been '87. His dad (the super) was one of the brightest, best-read people I've ever met.

I'll get you some ribs, Rammstein ... after I plow through my full platter of chili on the half shell (pulled pork & black bean nachos!). :D I'm looking out my office window at Dino as I type this!

What the heck happened?

Are these parents all the children of Hippies?

Did anyone play on a losing team where everyone got trophies?

Heh no kidding.

I'm all for praise and affirmation, but in moderation. Gen Y has shown employers that they literally need to hire people that do nothing but praise workers all day long. Expedia has people like that, no joke.
