"She couldn't make ice water from a mix with Gram Kerr helping her through the hard parts"

Would that your niece could spend some time in the kitchen with my wife, a multi-generational midwest farm style cook. She can throw a pretty good meal together in twenty minutes. Give her a couple of hours...... I hate to eat supper at a restaurant, it's way better at home.

In retrospect... might be a good idea to talk to her future husband and find out what he likes... start with a few of his favorite meals and build from there. Maybe even talk to his mom to get some recipes.

OR you could buy her a cell phone and teach her how to make reservations.. I she a looker? Her future husband might not mind that she can't cook!!! LOL
